Many children are not aware of the benefits of a clean and healthy environment, and why it is important for them to know as well. You could give a workshop for children at your school and tell them about it. Or start an online campaign to inform children about it. On World Earth Day, we organized a drawing event to let them express their ideas on their young mind in a series of pictures. The event was very successful. Having gone through all their drawings, I must say that they were aware of all the environmental issues that are obvious around us. So let them participate and educate them in this manner.
