Who We Are
Founded on December 18, 2019, Veshisaafu is a women-led, non-profit, non-governmental organization rooted in Hithadhoo, Addu Atoll. What began as a humble initiative to beautify our island has blossomed into a vibrant movement for environmental restoration and community empowerment.
We collaborate with schools, businesses, councils, and local groups to raise awareness, clean public spaces, nurture native plants, and inspire sustainable living. Every member of Veshisaafu is driven by a shared purpose: to protect our ecosystems and uplift our communities—one tree, one child, one shoreline at a time.
What We Do
We conserve ecosystems through community-led action and awareness education.
Our Impact
From breadfruit restoration to plastic-free festivals, our projects create lasting change.
How You Can Help
Volunteer, donate, or collaborate with us to grow a cleaner, greener future.
