On World Unity Day 2020, we organized another great event where we have helped Addu Equatorial Hospital to paint all the concrete planters in its courtyard. Veshisaafu members together with the hospital staff did a good job. Our purpose was to make the place greener and more natural and beautiful.

It was the National Youth Day 2020. We organized a zero plastic event together with I-Runners. Throughout the event, we didn’t use any plastic materials but collected 50 jumbo bags of plastic trash on both sides of Link Road. Participants signed a plastic awareness poster which we decided to send to the Environment Ministry President.

World Wetland Day 2020 was marked together with Addu equatorial hospital. We cleaned the waterlogged land around the hospital premises and collected plastic trash there. These watery lands play a significant role in providing many beneficial services to the nature and wildlife.
